1986

  • Australian Naïve Painters: Frances Jones, Milan Todd, Henry Bastin, Mary Pinnock and L. and B. Sucren. Opened by Stella Cornelius, Founder, Media Peace Prize, and Conflict Resolution

        Stella Cornelius as the founder of the Media Peace Prize for Conflict Resolution, continued to work tirelessly to establish peace institutions in Australia. In 1982, she started campaigning for an Australian Ministry of Peace, and in 2000 she was on the National Committee for Human Rights, recognised by Nelson Mandela. In 2005 Stella was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

1987
